Dr. Anthony Fauci was once a true believer in natural immunity.
Long before the Covid pandemic, on October 11, 2004, to be precise, Fauci appeared on C-SPAN’s Washington Journal. He expressed his professional opinion that if one had a prior infection to a virus, namely the seasonal flu, then one does not need to be vaccinated against it.Watch:

“But she’s had the flu for 14 days,” the host said. “Should she get a flu shot?”
Shockingly, Dr. Fauci had a recommendation: No. Because she had prior infection, and thus, natural immunity.
“Well, no,” Fauci replied. “If she got the flu for 14 days, she’s as protected as anybody can be. Because the best vaccination is to get infected yourself.”
“And she should not get it?” the host asked.
“If she really has the flu, if she really has the flu, she definitely doesn’t need a flu vaccine,” he reiterated. “If she really has the flu.”
“She should not get it again this year?” the host asked.
“She doesn’t need it,” Fauci said. “It’s the most potent vaccination — is getting infected yourself.”
On Wednesday, CDC Director Rochelle Walensky testified before the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Crisis. She referenced the 95% immunity figure in her testimony.
“We also know that in this country because of vaccines because of boosters and because of protection from prior disease, infection-induced immunity (natural immunity) that about 95% of people in this country have some level of protection,” she said.
The CDC released a study in January called “COVID-19 Cases and Hospitalizations by COVID-19 Vaccination Status and Previous COVID-19 Diagnosis — California and New York, May–November 2021.” The findings that natural immunity provided protection superior to vaccinated immunity were reported by Agence France-Presse.
Johns Hopkins University found in its landmark study published in January that 99% of unvaccinated people who had Covid infections gained robust “natural immunity” that did not diminish for at least 650 days.
A CDC-sponsored database in partnership with Yale, Harvard, and Stanford universities showed with state-level data in January that the overwhelming majority of Americans have had prior infections.
The great majority of U.S. states had prior infections ranging between 70% and 94%. Only Hawaii had prior infections data that fell below 50%. The prior infections average for all U.S. states was an incredible 78%.
The CDC itself claims there were 146.6 million prior infections in the United States as of September 2020. Based on its calculation and the current reported 80 million “cases,” this would put prior infections and natural immunity at an estimated 280 million to 320 million people.
The Biden administration continues to push vaccinations for the American people. The statistics show that the United States has reached herd immunity, and after 220 million people being ‘fully vaccinated,’ the most vulnerable populations are almost entirely vaccinated or have natural immunity.
The Covid pandemic has now reached an endemic phase; this entails the once-novel coronavirus being treated like other coronaviruses, namely, the seasonal flu.
And now, we all know what Dr. Anthony Fauci had to say about that.
